Job Purpose

If you are passionate about project management, AI, and automation and enjoy getting things done, this internship offers the ideal opportunity.

As a Project Management Intern, you will take ownership of core project management office (PMO) activities, support project governance, and help improve processes. You will work independently, contribute ideas, and collaborate closely with project managers, stream leads, and stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience in real projects and project environments leveraging AI and automation.

What you do

• You lead core PMO activities across ongoing projects, ensuring structure, governance, and smooth delivery.
• You design and implement automation workflows and AI‑supported processes to streamline and innovate project operations.
• You collaborate closely with the core project team to manage and execute planned milestones and operational tasks.
• You support Project & Program Managers by tracking actions, performing deep dives, assessing risks, and identifying process improvements.
• You own selected work packages depending on experience level, driving them independently to completion.
• You plan, coordinate, document, and follow up on meetings/workshops, and prepare project reports, updates, and stakeholder presentations.

What you offer

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, management, product/tech development, computer science, or a related field; a graduate degree or equivalent relevant experience is strongly preferred.
• A first hands‑on experience with AI (various LLMs) and automation tools such as n8n, MS Power Automate, Zapier, or Make is required.
• Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid (agile) project management capabilities, with excellent organizational and planning skills and a keen eye for detail in an intercultural environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English (minimum B1/B2).

The collective agreement monthly minimum fee for this internship amounts to EUR 2.907,57 gross.
