We’re currently looking for bright, enthusiastic, and motivated students or fresh graduates to join Citi Internship Program in Finance We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed! Participants join their teams to work on individual business projects for 6 months.

Team/Role Overview:

Markets Control is the largest department in Citi's Finance with responsibility for controlling Citi revenues via daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and new trading activity review. We represent the primary control function, monitoring trading activity, controlling daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and new trading activity. The department is organized into product-aligned teams such as credit, FX, equity, money markets, rates, cash, derivative, as well as structured and exotic variants of different asset classes.

The role is part of the Citi Markets Controllers team in Poland, within Finance. The business trades a wide range of products (FX, IR Derivatives, Bonds, Repo/Reverse Repo, Money Market) across a diverse range of countries and currencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily and monthly reporting of P&L (Profit and Loss) for Global Markets desk, including control and analysis of the underlying transaction data for different financial products, mainly: FX, FI Securities, IRS, Deposits, Money Market.

• Daily and monthly Balance Sheet reporting for 34 countries, including review of business level drivers and correctness of system data

• Daily review and analysis of PAA (Profit Attribution Analysis) including new trades, MTM and associated commentary on key risk factors and market moves

• Review of daily funding rates for different currencies used for Transfer Pricing calculation

• Improve Finance processes and strengthen the Control environment as well as ensuring great communication across Product Control and other functions like Valuation Control team, Front Office team and Operations across number of local CEEMEA countries and UK London
  

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• You are at least third year student of bachelor’s degree (preferred faculties: Finance, Banking, Accounting, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Methods and related) or you are pursuing your master's degree

• You are available to work full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours weekly)

• Very good command of English (at least B2)

• You have MS Excel knowledge (min. basic level)

• You are responsible and reliable person looking to become Finance professional
