Education required:Bachelor's Degreefrom an accredited college/university, preferably inFaculty of Engineering of any relevant Engineering discipline (e.g.Chemical & Biomolecular, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical,etc).

Other requirements:Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English

What will you do?

You will be workingon the productand process transfer project for one of GSK's own top selling products (HBV). As an HBV Project Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on ongoing projects, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in thebiopharmaceuticalsindustry.

You will be involved in:

  • Support the Design,Construction, and Commissioning of new vaccine manufacturing facilities, including process, utilities,building services, electrical, and/or instruments depending on the field of study of the successful candidate.

  • Collaborate with GSK Work Package Managersto test and commission the new vaccine manufacturing facilities and systems to ensure that design intent and specifications are met.

  • Assistin the development and creation of training matrices for project teams and Work Package managers, as well as documentation associated with change control processes.

  • Support the management of project documentation, from initiation to handover, meeting all milestones within the project program to ensuretimelyproject progression.

What will you learn?

You will have opportunities to learn the following:

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment

  • General understanding on biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes

  • Facility and equipment design, construction, and commissioning
    in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Gain exposure to Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects involving the transformation of existing facilities to manufacture new products.

  • Project management frameworks for CAPEX projects.

  • Change control management for facility, utilities, and equipment design.

  • Training and documentation management for CAPEX project teams.
