PMI Excellence aims to be the trusted advisor and executive business partner for post-merger integration and separation activities within the ZEISS Group. The PMI team provides governance and program management support for ZEISS-wide PMI activities to enable sustainable transaction success and secure acquisition value for the ZEISS segment.

Your role

• support group-wide Post Merger Integration (PMI), divestiture, and transformation projects

• assist the Integration Management Office (IMO) with project governance, tracking, and reporting

• support the planning and execution of integration workshops, steering committees, and workstream meetings

• contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMI methodologies, tools, templates, and playbooks

• help monitor integration progress, risks, dependencies, and synergy realization

• prepare presentations, analyses, and decision materials for management and integration leadership teams

• gain hands-on experience in complex PMI projects while collaborating with international and cross-functional teams

Your profile

• alreadystudyingbusiness administration/ economics with a focus onfinance,strategic/ international management, strategy execution,etc.(completedaBachelor and startingor already enrolled in aMastersprogram)

• ideally, you have gained first practical experience in project management, M&A, post-merger integration, business transformation, or management consulting.

• very good analytical skills andcanthink across disciplines

• an independent, accurate and reliable working style

• demonstrated a high level of initiative

• fluent in English and have strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
