About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our small and dynamic team at the pilot plant. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the scale-up of innovative technologies within a leading global company. You will be directly involved in projects focused on enhancing our production processes through improved inline viscosity measurement and the optimization of inline mixing of thickening agents. This internship is scheduled to start on 01.09.2026 for a duration of minimum 6 months The role requires a minimum commitment of 4-5 days per week This role is fully on-site and the location is our Pilot Plant in Leiden.

At Avery Dennison, we work with the biggest brands in FMCG, Apparel, Automotive and Pharma industry. Our Leiden location, close to our European Headquarters, is a collaborative environment that supports our Research and Development department with a small and dynamic team. The pilot plant is where new techniques and adhesives are tested. This involves conducting trials on a smaller, pilot-scale before full-scale production.
