We're raw, unfiltered, and a bit unconventional. Our drive is just like our athletes, unrivaled. The power is in your hands to define what success looks like and where you want to take your career. It's not just about what we do, but about who we become on along the way. We are much more than a brand here. We are a way of life, a mindset. Join us!

A Day in The Life:

The Packaging Quality Intern will support the Packaging Quality team by assisting in the development and expansion of the Defective Material Reporting (DMR) site within SharePoint. This role will help organize, standardize, and upload critical documentation—including specifications, drawings, test methods, audit records, and supplier files—to ensure accurate, accessible, and compliant data management across the organization. The intern will collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather inputs, structure content, and help optimize the user experience of the DMR site.

In addition to digital documentation responsibilities, the intern will gain hands‑on experience performing quality evaluations on both primary and secondary packaging components. This includes executing physical tests, assisting in root‑cause investigations, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The role offers a blend of technical, digital, and operational exposure—ideal for someone interested in packaging engineering, quality systems, and real‑world problem solving within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Assist in building, organizing, and maintaining the Packaging DMR within SharePoint, ensuring documents are structured, accessible, and properly version‑controlled.
  • Upload, categorize, and update packaging specifications, test methods, SOPs, supplier documentation, and quality records within the SharePoint DMR site.
  • Perform hands‑on testing of primary and secondary packaging components following established quality protocols and test procedures.
  • Record test data accurately, summarize findings, and help develop reports for the Packaging Quality team.
  • Support root cause analysis by gathering evidence, documenting observations, and assisting in troubleshooting packaging‑related defects or inconsistencies.
  • Partner with Packaging Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to collect necessary documents or information for the DMR buildout.
  • Help standardize packaging documentation templates and naming conventions to improve consistency and compliance across the system.
  • Collect packaging specs and data for PLM buildout
  • Maintain an organized workspace, manage sample inventory, and prepare packaging components for testing and evaluation.

Who You Are:

  • Currently pursuing a technical degree. Preferably Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Able to gain basic understanding of packaging materials (such as paperboard, corrugate, plastics, or aluminum) and interest in learning packaging test methods.
  • Comfort with hands‑on work, including physical testing of primary and secondary packaging components in a lab or quality setting.
  • Ability to work with digital documentation systems, especially SharePoint, and interest in organizing technical documents (specs, SOPs, test methods, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data, follow procedures, and support quality investigations.
