Job Description

The intern will have the opportunity to work in the PC Ammonia Production Ammonia department, gaining valuable insights into the chemical engineering field. This role is ideal for those with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering who are eager to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. The intern will be exposed to various aspects of the production process and have the chance to develop their technical and soft skills.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation using Power BI, providing valuable insights for process optimization.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues, applying chemical engineering principles.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand and implement best practices in chemical production.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating production records and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Develop and enhance soft skills, such as communication and teamwork, through daily interactions with the team.
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest advancements in chemical engineering.
  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Strong academic background with a passion for chemical engineering.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Power BI, is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
  • Interest in the chemical industry and a desire to gain practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Eligibility to work in Malaysia as an intern.
