Desjardins operates in a transforming financial environment, marked by evolving member and client expectations, the entry of new players, technological innovation, and regulatory changes. To support its strategic thinking, the organization aims to deepen its understanding of the financing ecosystem in Canada. The internship covers the main financing segments (mortgages, consumer lending, automotive, and durable goods). The objectives are to conduct a structured and in-depth competitive analysis of the Canadian financing ecosystem in order to map existing financial product offerings and their key characteristics. You will be expected to analyze the evolution of competitors’ products and value propositions, as well as compare the positioning of traditional financial institutions, specialized players, and fintech companies. You will also help identify potential business opportunities based on data analysis and market trends. More specifically, you will be required to:
