Education required:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university,preferably with a focus inEngineering including Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences

Other requirements:Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship periodJanuary to December 2027

What will you do?

  • Process Improvement:Assistinidentifyingareas for improvement within the manufacturing processes. This may involve data collection, analysis, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, andoptimizeproductivity

  • Lean Manufacturing: Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Data analysis: Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production output. Use statistical tools and software toidentifytrends, anomalies, and areas for improvement

  • Project Support: Contribute to various projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes. This may include project planning, coordination, and execution, as well asmonitoringprogress and reporting on outcomes

  • Documentation:Assistin creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to support project initiatives

  • Training and development:Participatein training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Problem Solving: Engage in problem-solving activities to address manufacturing issues and implement necessary actions
