The Learning & Development (L&D) team at Boskalis plays a crucial role worldwide in the professional growth and development of our employees. They provide support, develop, and implement a wide range of learning interventions throughout our employees' careers. Their goal is to ensure that everyone within Boskalis has access to appropriate learning and development opportunities, regardless of their location.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative student who is eager to gain practical experience within our corporate Learning & Development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring ideas for learning and development to life and directly contribute to creating engaging and effective (digital) learning content.

Together with our manager, L&D advisors, coordinators, and learning technology specialist, you will work on translating knowledge from the organization into impactful digital learning modules. You will be involved in the entire process: from creating storyboards and structuring content to building interactive elements.

Your curiosity and eagerness to learn make you a valuable sparring partner for colleagues, and you actively contribute to improving and innovating our learning solutions.

Your responsibilities as Learning & Development Intern

• Collaborate with colleagues from the business to translate their knowledge and needs into effective e-learning modules.
• Create content yourself, including storyboards, texts, visuals, and interactive elements.
• Provide advice on how digital learning solutions can be made more engaging, interactive, and adaptive.
• Proactively participate in projects within our L&D team related to creating (digital) content.

Your qualities and experience

You can make a difference as an intern if you bring the following:

• You are enrolled in a bachelor or university program, preferably in educational sciences, organizational sciences, educational psychology or a comparable field focused on (digital) learning methodology and design.
• You have knowledge of instructional design and didactical methodologies.
• You can present complex information clearly and in a structured way.
• You enjoy working with online learning tools and like creating learning content.
• You are creative, curious, and willing to experiment.
• You have a good command of the English language.
• You have an independent, proactive attitude and work well in a team environment.

• Where you will work For office-based roles, in consultation with your manager and your team, you work partly at home and partly in the office.
• Full/part-time job The position of Learning & Development Intern is a full-time job (40 hours a week) / part-time (32 -36 hours a week) is optional.
