The Verification & Validation team is looking for a student in the greater area of Graz to support our post-silicon verification and validation process part-time. Join our team to enhance your practical experience and grow your professional network in parallel to your studies.
Responsibilities:
Handle state of the art (RF) measurement equipment
Develop software for automated lab environments
Analyze and post-process the test data
Debug and find root causes of unexpected results/behavior
Presentation of measurement results
Learn about semiconductor ICs, embedded ARM software and RF measurement techniques
PCB design and soldering is optional based on your interest
Your Profile:
Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering (Telematics), Software Engineering or similar
Knowledge in software development in Python
Basic experience with lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer etc.)
Curious to learn about new technologies
Team player, good communication skills and fluent in English
Valid work authorization is required
Availability approximately 16h/week or more, duration over 6 months

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800,- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
