We are hiring a Project Management Intern to join our project team in Munich. You will report directly to the Project Manager and support the planning and delivery of projects with varying degrees of complexity. Working at the interface between business and IT, you will gain practical experience in project coordination, requirements management, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance. As project work and stakeholder communication are primarily conducted in German, strong German skills are essential for this position.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
– Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects, including timelines, deliverables, costs, risks, and quality requirements;
– Prepare project plans, status reports, presentations, meeting documentation, and decision-making materials;
– Organize project meetings and workshops, document decisions and action items, and follow up on their implementation;
– Participate in cross-functional working sessions and help translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements;
– Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project and functional documentation in German and English;
– Support user acceptance testing and help investigate questions, issues, and defects;
– Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and open actions, escalating potential issues when appropriate;
– Support effective communication between clients, project sponsors, stakeholders, business departments, and IT teams.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO FULFILL YOUR ROLE
– A current or recently completed university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field;
– A strong interest in project management, business analysis, digital transformation, and information technology;
– Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
– The ability to structure complex topics and present information clearly and concisely;
– Strong attention to detail and a reliable, proactive, and independent working style;
– The ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and contribute as part of a team;
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with project management or collaboration tools is an advantage;
– Fluent German skills, both written and spoken, at a minimum level of C1 are mandatory, as German is the primary working language of the project;
– Good written and spoken English skills;
– Proficiency in Italian is an advantage.

Please note: Part of the interview process will be conducted in German to assess the language skills required for the role.
