Internship for IT Inventory System

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support day-to-day data center operations, including receiving, installing, monitoring, and decommissioning hardware and equipment.
• Manage hardware lifecycle activities such as asset tracking, inventory maintenance, documentation, and secure disposal in compliance with company requirements.
• Perform hardware installation, rack mounting, cabling, labeling, configuration, and firmware/BIOS updates.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, rack locations, spare parts inventory, and stock levels within designated systems.
• Conduct routine hardware health checks, monitor system status, and provide first-level hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts requests, hardware replacements, returns, and logistics activities.
• Support hardware incidents and maintenance activities by facilitating data center access and escorting authorized personnel according to established procedures.
• Ensure data center housekeeping standards are maintained, including rack organization and disposal of packaging materials.
• Assist with operating system installation, hardware monitoring tool configuration, and documentation updates.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or any related field.
• Preferably internship duration of 3 months and above.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above.
• Shows strong curiosity in understanding how security and software systems function beyond academic learning.
• Able to work well in a team environment, with a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement through hands-on experience.
