We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as Internship, IT.

Roles & Responsibilities:

You’ll gain real-world exposure to how technology teams in a global bank deliver software and run BAU in a controlled, well-governed environment. You’ll support day-to-day delivery operations, tooling hygiene, and risk/control tracking—building practical skills in communication, structured problem-solving, and modern ways of working (Agile/DevOps).

What you’ll learn (key development outcomes)

• By the end of the internship, you should be able to:
• Navigate end-to-end delivery processes (planning, execution tracking, reporting, governance)
• Use Jira and Confluence effectively to manage work and maintain clear documentation
• Understand the basics of DevOps delivery concepts (e.g., environments, releases, CI/CD at a high level)
• Build confidence in professional stakeholder communication, follow-ups, and prioritization
• Gain awareness of technology risk and controls (e.g., vulnerability remediation tracking, KCI status support)

Responsibilities (supervised, using templates and clear guardrails)

• Support BAU and project admin: action logs, meeting notes, decision logs, weekly status updates
• Maintain Jira hygiene: closing/triaging stale items, improving ticket quality, basic dashboards
• Maintain Confluence pages: playbooks, runbooks, process notes, onboarding materials
• Support tracking and follow-ups for vulnerability remediation and KCI-related status updates (tracking, ageing, blockers, escalation packs)
• Help identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve “how we work” documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Studying towards a degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering / related discipline
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with checklists and structured tracking
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence (basic is fine; training will be provided)
• Interest in software delivery, Agile, DevOps, or technology risk
• Strong written and spoken English communication

What success looks like

• Accurate, timely trackers and clear documentation that stakeholders can use
• Improved tooling hygiene (fewer aged/duplicate items; better data quality)
• Professional communication: clear updates, sensible escalation of blockers
• Demonstrated learning through a small set of end-of-internship deliverables (e.g., a “How we work” playbook, tracker templates, dashboards)

Support and oversight

• You’ll have a named mentor and weekly check-ins. Work will be reviewed before it’s shared widely.
• Access will follow least-privilege principles; you won’t be expected to make risk decisions independently.
