Job Description

Start date: 1st of July 2026

Duration: 6 months 

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

What you can expect:

  • Drive development, negotiation, and implementation of Global Own Brand Range across METRO countries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing) as #ONEMETRO
  • Analyze RFQ inputs and manage samples and contracts
  • Organize supplier meetings and ensure smooth communication
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver accurate performance reporting

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in university studying Business Administration, Trade/Procurement, or similar
  • Strong interest in food product development and understanding of HoReCa customer needs (#UnifyingThePowerofFood)
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent communication skills for working with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset
