Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

The Inclusion & Belonging International (I&B) Office sits at the heart of our People & Culture strategy. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, influence strategy, and shape a truly inclusive environment. Based in Basel, the role offers a flexible starting date and options for hybrid work to support your work-life balance.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will not just be observing; you will be an active driver of sustainable cultural change. You will work closely with the I&B International team and network with leaders, project Project Managers, and local Impact Networks (Employee Resource Groups). You will become part of the vibrant multicultural community of The Roche Intern Network and receive mentorship from senior I&B professionals, rounded up by attractive benefits.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Country Impact Network & Community Enablement: Serve as a central point of contact for Roche's country Impact Networks (Business/Employee Resource Groups) in Switzerland. Assist them with resource allocation, cultural awareness/day preparation and communications support.

  • Project Management & Operations: Assist in solving problems and key deliverables for the team; actively fuel day-to-day actions with the support of AI systems and methods

  • Engagement & Communication: Support the preparation of engagement moments with networks, internal and external events; take care of follow up activities, success measurements and Social Media activities.

Who You Are

You are eager to shape your own career path and want to join a company where your title is just the starting point, not the limit. As a passionate advocate for inclusion and belonging, you bring an empathetic, curious, and open-minded approach to diverse cultures. You are ready to champion creative ideas and embrace innovative solutions, including AI, to drive meaningful change.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s program, ideally with a proficient literacy for Inclusion & Belonging (e.g., Psychology, Business Administration, Sociology, Human Resources, Global Studies) OR you have graduated within the last 12 months.

  • Analytical Capability: Comfortable handling data, identifying trends, and translating numbers into clean, digestible PowerPoint/Google Slides narratives.

  • Organization: Strong structured thinking with the ability to manage multiple overlapping tasks in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment.

  • Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English AND German is required. Additional languages are a plus.
