The opportunity
Join our Semiconductor Packaging and Reliability Engineering research team and contribute to next‑generation power electronics. You will work on silicon carbide semiconductor reliability in a dynamic research environment. The role focuses on developing and improving innovative testing solutions for power devices. You collaborate closely with experts and gain insights into real research challenges. You will grow by combining experimental work with data analysis and system development. This position offers hands‑on access to advanced laboratories and close cooperation with industry and academia.
How you’ll make an impact
Conduct measurement campaigns and analyze reliability data of SiC devices
Develop and improve test setups for dynamic reliability testing
Design solutions for advanced sensing and automated data collection
Optimize power converter systems for long-term testing
Upgrade measurement electronics and data acquisition systems
Support integration of monitoring systems for device aging
Document and communicate results within research and business teams
Your background
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in physics, electronicsengineering, materialsengineeringor a related discipline (official enrolment is essential)
Familiar withelectrical measurements setupand withthe design and construction of electronics systemsPreviousexperience with semiconductor physics and/or power devices is a strong plus
Experience with LabView programming, and knowledge of programming languages (eg.Python, C,Matlab)
Fluency in written and spoken English
Good communicationand technical writing skills
Creative and able to work autonomously
