The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Homologation department advises Mercedes-Benz Trucks development divisions on global regulatory approval matters. Furthermore, the department obtains system approvals in accordance with international regulations and whole-vehicle type approvals for Europe, while also supporting the homologation of our vehicles in markets worldwide.

We monitor international and national vehicle regulations and develop homologation solutions to support activities in national markets. To develop optimized solutions for monitoring global regulations, we are seeking an intern to assist us in creating homologation functions and shaping future homologation strategies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Developing an AI-based system (utilizing an IT database) for regulatory management
  • Developing systems for monitoring and managing regulations using MS Power Automate
  • Analyzing global vehicle homologation regulations to identify differences in specifications
  • Assisting in shaping the future vision for the digital homologation strategy

THAT'S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

Studies

  • Degree program in Engineering, Data Analysis, AI, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of vehicle technology
  • Good knowledge of IT data analysis
  • Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence
  • Excellent proficiency in MS 365 (primarily MS Power Automate, MS PowerApps)

Languages

  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
