Job Description

• Assist with detection engineering, including rule development, testing, tuning, and validation.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security assessment activities.
• Contribute to SOC automation, dashboards, scripts, reporting, and operational documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or postgraduate program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Curious and analytical, with hands-on exposure through projects, labs, scripting, CTFs, or certifications.

Additional Information

You will join the Information Security Services (ISS) team, which operates the Global SOC and provides centralized cybersecurity services across RTL Group. The team combines expertise in security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, platform engineering, vulnerability management, security assessments, threat intelligence, and automation. You will work closely with specialists across these areas and collaborate with IT and security teams from different RTL Group business units.
