Our department “Development of Electric Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions” within Group Components at the Kassel site holds corporate responsibility for developing all future pulse inverters (PWR) for electric drives. We are shaping the mobile future by consistently turning our innovations into economically viable products and continuously improving existing ones. #pushthepulse

Possible tasks within this role

  • Supporting the development of automotive series hardware in accordance with Automotive SPICE, internal development processes, and functional safety standards
  • Assisting in the design, execution, and documentation of hardware unit and integration tests based on requirements
  • Contributing to the project “Development and Implementation of a Maintenance and Documentation Tool for Measurement Equipment”
  • Designing and creating support tools (e.g., adapter boards or signal generators) to facilitate test execution
  • Developing and implementing automated test procedures and evaluations

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s students (with at least 89 credit points) or Master’s students in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or similar fields
  • Good to very good academic performance
  • Knowledge in power electronics / pulse inverters for electric drives, hardware development, or similar areas is desirable
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, and Microsoft Office is a plus
  • German and English language skills at B2 level
  • Valid Class B driver’s license required
