What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Analytics: analyse and interpret payment transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Dashboard & Reporting: support the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to monitor key performance indicators and operational performance.
  • Data Management: assist with data extraction, transformation, and preparation of datasets for analysis.
  • Data Governance: support the definition of key metrics and help maintain data integrity and consistency across regional payment datasets.
  • Automation & Digitalisation: contribute to automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency using analytics tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with stakeholders across the region to understand business needs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Projects & Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support for operational reviews, analytics projects, and other tasks as assigned.

Group Shared Services plays an important role in supporting the bank's operational excellence across the region. The team partners with stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure the efficient processing of transactions, delivery of high-quality services, and continuous improvement of operational processes. You'll be part of a collaborative team that embraces innovation, digitalisation, and continuous learning to enhance the future of banking operations.

Who You Are

  • Open to learning and feedback.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Curious and passionate about data, technology, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and an interest in data analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Interest in financial services, particularly banking operations.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
