What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transformation Projects: support the planning and execution of business transformation initiatives aimed at improving processes, systems, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: assist in mapping current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement through data collection and analysis.
  • Project Delivery Support: prepare user stories, test plans, and test scripts to support project implementation and delivery.
  • Data Preparation: assist in the preparation of training and testing datasets required for AI and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Change Management: support communication, training, and stakeholder engagement activities to facilitate the adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Project Tracking & Governance: help maintain project documentation, timelines, status updates, and action logs to support effective project management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: participate in workshops and meetings to gather feedback, understand business requirements, and support solution design.
  • Reporting & Presentations: assist in preparing presentations, reports, and project updates to communicate key milestones and outcomes.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other transformation, automation, and innovation initiatives as assigned.

Who You Work With

Group Shared Services plays an important role in supporting operational excellence and transformation across the bank. The team partners with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and business functions to deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, improve user experiences, and drive business outcomes.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and learning, while contributing to the successful delivery of transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related discipline.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Exposure to business transformation projects involving AI, intelligent document processing, digitalisation, and vendor management initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Opportunities to develop automation capabilities using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Practical exposure to banking operations, business processes, and change management within a financial services environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different business areas.
  • Development of project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
