Be part of Global Transaction Banking and support how OCBC serves financial institution clients across the region. As a GFI Sales Support Intern, you’ll work at the intersection of data, process, and client support—helping to improve efficiency and strengthen internal capabilities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to analytics tools, automation initiatives, and real business processes that underpin client servicing within the Global Financial Institutions segment.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process Automation: Support workflow automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Assist in developing and enhancing reporting dashboards and analytics

  • Testing & Validation: Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) with guidance from the team

  • Project & Initiative Support: Support GFI-related initiatives such as system migrations and process reviews

Who You Work With

The Global Financial Institutions (GFI) team sits within Global Transaction Banking and supports the bank’s relationships with financial institution clients. You’ll work closely with sales support professionals and project teams, contributing to initiatives that improve internal processes and client service delivery in a collaborative and learning-driven environment.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree

  • Interested in analytics, process improvement, or transaction banking

  • Comfortable working with digital and productivity tools

  • Proficient in tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, advanced Excel, or Power Automate

  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn

  • Able to communicate clearly and work well with others

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Hands-on experience using analytics and automation tools

  • Understanding of support processes involved in servicing Global Financial Institutions clients

  • Exposure to workflow improvement, reporting, and system-related initiatives
