As an FX & Rates Strategy Intern, you'll gain firsthand exposure to the world of foreign exchange, interest rates, and precious metals research within Global Markets. You'll work alongside experienced strategists, develop practical market analysis skills, and contribute to research that supports investment decisions, client engagement, and market positioning across the bank.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be intellectually curious, analytical, and passionate about global markets. You'll work closely with the FX & Rates Strategy team to analyse macroeconomic developments, monitor market trends, and support the production of research views and market insights. Your ability to interpret economic and market data, think critically about emerging themes, and communicate findings effectively will help you contribute meaningfully to the team's research efforts.

Global Markets Research provides market insights and strategic perspectives that support clients, traders, sales teams, and senior management in navigating evolving market conditions. Within the FX & Rates Strategy team, you'll work alongside experienced strategists who analyse global economic developments, central bank policies, and market trends across foreign exchange, rates, and precious metals markets. You'll also gain exposure to other functions across the Global Markets business, providing a well-rounded understanding of financial markets and banking.
