As a Loan Capital Markets Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to syndicated loan transactions that support corporates across industries and regions. This internship offers a front-row view of how financing solutions are structured, pitched, syndicated, and executed—while building strong foundations in credit analysis, financial modelling, and transaction execution within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
How You Succeed
You’ll do well in this role if you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how financing deals come together. You’re comfortable working with numbers and financial statements, able to communicate clearly, and capable of managing multiple tasks under time pressure. Taking initiative, being meticulous, and collaborating effectively with team members will be key to supporting successful deal outcomes.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Transaction Lifecycle Exposure: Support the team across the full syndicated loan lifecycle, from pitching and mandate to syndication, execution, and closing
Deal Structuring & Documentation: Assist in structuring deals, preparing termsheets, underwriting proposals, and reviewing legal documentation in line with agreed financing terms
Syndication Support: Help coordinate roadshows, syndication launches, and preparation of information packages for lenders
Analysis & Modelling: Support financial modelling, credit analysis, and assessment of key financial metrics of corporate borrowers
Presentation & Team Support: Assist in preparing pitch materials, deal summaries, and client communications, and provide general support to the team as required
Who You Work With
The Loan Capital Markets team sits within Global Investment Banking and works closely with coverage teams, credit, legal, and syndication partners to deliver structured financing solutions for clients. You’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that values precision, teamwork, and continuous learning through real transaction exposure.
Who You Are
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Strong interest in banking, credit analysis, or financing markets
Good understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals
Independent, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure
Meticulous, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prior banking internship experience is an advantage
