Social Media & Content Creation Intern

At @PetronasBrands, you'll be part of the team behind the social media presence of one of Malaysia's most recognised consumer brands. From exciting campaigns and product launches to Café Mesra, Kedai Mesra, motorsports and everyday moments, you'll help create content that reaches and engages millions of Malaysians.

If you're always spotting the latest social media trends, love designing content, or spend your free time editing videos and creating motion graphics, this internship is for you.

What You'll Do

• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Create engaging static visuals, short form videos, reels, stories and motion graphics.
• Support content ideation, scripting and creative brainstorming sessions.
• Design social media assets using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, memes and platform best practices.
• Help prepare content calendars and publishing schedules.
• Monitor campaign performance and contribute ideas to improve engagement.
• Work alongside digital marketing professionals, agencies and creative partners on real business campaigns.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field.
• Available for a minimum internship duration of 6 months
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Comfortable creating both static and motion content for social media.
• Passionate about social media, digital storytelling and content creation.
• Familiar with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Threads.
• Creative, curious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

Bonus Points If You

• Have a portfolio, Behance page, Instagram, TikTok or other creative work to showcase.
• Know your way around CapCut, Figma, Canva or AI creative tools.
• Enjoy photography, videography or animation.
• Can turn trending ideas into engaging content quickly.
