Job Description

As an intern in the Upstream Offshore Structure team, you will have the chance to contribute to a range of exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in the energy sector. You will work alongside industry professionals and have the opportunity to learn about offshore structures, floating platforms, and the design and installation of pipelines and risers. This internship will provide a solid foundation for your future career in the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Assist in the design and analysis of offshore structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support the engineering team in developing floating structure concepts and conducting feasibility studies.
  • Conduct research and provide technical support for upstream pipeline and riser projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and project integration.
  • Participate in site visits and gain practical experience in offshore operations.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for project feasibility assessments.
  • Help maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Develop skills in using industry-specific software and tools for structural analysis and design.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
  • Basic knowledge of offshore structures, floating systems, and pipeline engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, ANSYS, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles is an advantage.
  • Passion for the energy industry and a desire to contribute to sustainable development.
