The Position

This position is offered in the Clinical Development team within Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.
The Clinical Development Team explores unmet medical needs and designs clinical development strategies and studies for diagnostic solutions and personalized healthcare. In your role you support the Clinical Development Leads to develop innovative diagnostic solutions in the area of Neurology and/or Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases.

The Opportunity

Your main tasks will include:

  • Supporting the team with medical/scientific expertise to help develop novel diagnostics solutions.

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, collation of relevant clinical and scientific information from different sources, and create new scientific content.

  • Writing a wide range of medical and scientific documents.

  • Collaborate with other functions as well as external experts on development programs.

  • Support the team with the generation of target product profiles, and translation into analytical and clinical product requirements.

Who You are

  • You are currently enrolled as a Medical student or PhD student in a health-related scientific field (e.g. neurology, cardiology, metabolic diseases, endocrinology, immunology, etc) or have recently graduated with a PhD degree in one of the fields above (within the last 12 months)

  • You are interested to transfer your scientific and/or medical knowledge and your curiosity into the development of clinical diagnostic solutions have excellent communication and strong scientific writing skills

  • You are a team player, ideally with project management skills

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must, additional languages are an asset

Additional Information

  • Due to regulations non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents

  • The internship has a duration of 12 months
