Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

As a Marketing Intern at PETRONAS Chemicals Marketing Labuan Ltd, you will support the Polymer Marketing analyst's team with various tasks and projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the marketing field within a leading chemical company. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-Day Support: Assist the Polymer Marketing analyst's team with daily tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the department.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on new product development and market trends to provide valuable insights for upcoming projects and campaigns.
  • Data Management: Capture and analyse data using Excel and Power BI, contributing to the development and update of databases such as pricing, competitor, and sustainability databases.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure accurate documentation of discussions and decisions.
  • Project Involvement: Be actively involved in upcoming projects and assist with current campaigns, contributing to the success of the marketing initiatives.
  • Market Analysis & Visualization: Assist in market analysis and help create data visualizations and presentation decks to support reporting and decision-making.
