Job Description

As an Internship for Instrument Technician, you will be an integral part of the ABFSB Sec Maintenance Technical Support team. Your primary focus will be to assist in the maintenance and optimization of our instrumentation systems, ensuring smooth control processes and efficient plant operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of instrumentation systems and equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze control processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support the troubleshooting and resolution of instrumentation-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement process improvements.
  • Document and report on instrumentation system performance and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify potential instrumentation issues.
  • Support the training and development of junior technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Diploma in Petroleum Engineering (Instrumentation and Plant Control) or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation systems, control processes, and plant operations.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for instrumentation maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
