About the role
The Food & Beverage Intern supports the F&B team in delivering exceptional guest experiences across various outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banqueting. This internship provides a comprehensive, hands-on learning opportunity in a fast-paced hospitality environment, allowing the intern to gain practical knowledge of food service operations, guest interaction, and teamwork. Ideal for hospitality students or recent graduates seeking real-world experience in a dynamic and service-driven industry.
What you will do
Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
Polish silverware, refill condiment containers and crumb tables.
Stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
Breakdown, clean and set-up buffets and food stations.
Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Greet guests, provide water, bread and butter service conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Develop and present a project work to reinforce training.
What you bring
EducationStudent currently pursuing a degree in Hospitalityor a related field.
PassionGenuine enthusiasm for guest service and curiosity about the hospitality industry.
Interpersonal skills Excellent personal presentation and communication abilities, with confidence in interacting with guests and colleagues.
Team spirit Collaborative mindset and willingness to support different areas of the department when needed.
