We are looking for our future intern in EPR & Circularity Strategy based in Obernai for a duration of 6 months starting from January 2027.

Your mission :

Reporting to Anaïs Zink, Environmental Sustainability Senior Manager, the team will rely on you to:

  • Build a clear understanding of how Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems operate across Hager's main European markets, including key regulatory requirements, stakeholder ecosystems and market practices.
  • Analyze how evolving EPR frameworks and end-of-life management schemes can support circular economy ambitions and create new opportunities for industrial companies.
  • Identify emerging trends, partnerships and best practices related to product take-back, material recovery and circular value chains.
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations and decision-making materials to support the development of future circular economy initiatives within Hager Group.

You will join the Group Environmental Sustainability team and work across Hager’s European markets with the Blue Planet Commitment network and key business functions. The role combines regulatory analysis, circular economy strategy, stakeholder interviews and executive decision support.

Your profil :

Currently studying at Master’s level in environmental engineering, sustainability, circular economy, industrial engineering, business, public policy or a related field, you are looking for a 6-month internship.

  • You are fluent in English and German in a professional environment; French is a plus.
  • You have strong analytical and synthesis skills and enjoy turning complex topics into clear insights.
  • You are comfortable working with data, conducting research and structuring information.
  • You are curious about sustainability, regulation and business transformation topics.
  • You are proactive, autonomous and enjoy interacting with diverse stakeholders in an international setting.
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
