Location: Corsier-sur-Vevey
Role: Internship

You will join the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) department at our Corsier-sur-Vevey site — an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and product managers with deep expertise in antibody drug and biosimilar manufacturing. Our molecules target cancers, multiple sclerosis, and chronic inflammatory diseases. Working at the intersection of data science and AI, you will build performance monitoring tools and prototype AI-driven solutions that directly support operational decision-making and process optimization across the production lifecycle.

Your Role:

  • Develop time series analyses to monitor key manufacturing parameters, detect anomalies, and enable earlier identification of process trends.
  • Apply forecasting methodologies to critical process parameters using predictive modeling techniques.
  • Design and build interactive dashboards in Power BI and Python to deliver clear, actionable insights to operational teams.
  • Explore and prototype agentic AI solutions to assist process monitoring, automate documentation tasks, and streamline reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions and integrate them into production environments.

Profile:

  • Master's student in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Interest in the biopharmaceutical industry and its manufacturing processes.
  • Strong Python programming skill, with experience in data science and AI/ML frameworks. / Familiarity with time series analysis and forecasting methods is a plus.
  • Experience with AI/GenAI tools and agentic frameworks (e.g., Claude, MCP, RAG pipelines, vector databases) is a plus.
  • Software development experience (e.g., web/backend frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, containerization) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
  • Languages French (working language on site), English (working proficiency).
