Department description

Group Business Data Integration is responsible for the methodological framework and business specifications related to the Group’s central data platforms and data integration solutions. This includes the Central Data Warehouse, the Data Lake, and real-time data delivery solutions.

The team defines and maintains standards for data delivery from Erste Group subsidiaries into central data platforms and is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the Group Business Glossary, ensuring a consistent understanding and use of business terminology across the Group.

Due to its central role in the Group data flow, the team is actively involved in initiatives related to the enhancement and redesign of the Central Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and real-time data delivery capabilities, driven by new regulatory requirements, business needs, and architectural optimization.

Your Tasks

Working closely with senior team members and supporting them in their daily activities and ongoing initiatives. This includes assisting with analyses, documentation, specifications, and project-related tasks, as well as contributing to process improvement and AI-related use cases.

Your Background

• Ongoing university studies in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with an interest in data, business processes, and technology.
• Basic understanding of databases, data structures, data warehouses, or data management concepts is an advantage.
• Interest in business analysis, requirements engineering, data integration, and process optimization.
• Interest in AI and automation and motivation to explore practical use cases for improving internal processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Independent, reliable, and proactive way of working, combined with a willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex information in a structured manner.
• Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools, or visualization tools is an advantage but not a requirement.
