Internship Overview:
We are seeking an Intern to support our Consulting and Design team. In this role, you will assist with developing technical drawings, preparing reports, and supporting project documentation for a variety of engineering and consulting projects. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in design processes, project coordination, and technical reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing professional skills in a consulting and design environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and revision of technical drawings, layouts, and project documents under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Support the development of reports, assessments, and project deliverables by gathering and organizing project information.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Perform data entry, research, and document review activities to support ongoing projects.
- Communicate professionally with team members and stakeholders regarding project updates and deliverables.
- Assist with other administrative and project-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university program.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with drafting or design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar programs) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn industry standards, technical processes, and consulting best practices.
- Ability to pass a background check.
