About the internship

Join Barco Labs and contribute to innovative image analysis solutions used in healthcare and digital pathology. You will work on one or multiple challenging problems involving image quality assessment, image registration, gaze tracking, and advanced image analysis.

Depending on your interests and skills, you will be matched to a project where you can make a direct impact while working alongside experienced engineers and researchers.

What you'll do

• Develop image processing and computer vision algorithms
• Analyse medical image datasets
• Improve and validate existing algorithms
• Benchmark performance and robustness
• Integrate solutions into larger software environments
• Present technical results and findings

Who you are

• Bachelor or Master student in Computer Vision, AI, Computer Science or related field
• Strong Python and/or C++ skills
• Interest in image processing and algorithm development
• Familiarity with OpenCV, NumPy or similar libraries is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset
• Experience with Linux/Docker
• Experience with Git (GitHub) and collaborative software development
• Experience with LLM in development
• Fluent spoken and written communication in English
