Duration: 6 months

As the Compliance Intern you will be responsible for collaborating with the local Compliance team (“Team”), which ensure that the Bank’s activities follow the necessary rules and regulations. Specific responsibilities include assisting the Team in performing daily tasks, record regulatory correspondence in a proactive timely fashion manner, updates processes considering internal guidelines and outside regulatory requirements and under guidance of your manager.

High level Responsibilities:

Regulatory Monitoring

  • Track and read regulatory consultation documents, new/ revised CSSF circulars, Luxembourg and EU Directives, regulations and laws to identify changes to the current bank framework and flag the new piece to the Manager before kicking off any gap analysis.
  • Update as appropriate/ relevant the regulatory development database, the regulatory reporting database and the internal register of applicable laws, rules and standards upon Manager instruction and guidance.

Compliance Policy and Procedures:

  • Participate in the Policy and procedure working group along with a Team member, to ensure all compliance policies and procedures are up-to-date and assist the Team in updating the documents to be in line with local legal and regulatory environment and Firm standards

Compliance Problem Resolution:

  • Advise your Manager and help in drafting internal procedures for compliance related activities.
  • Assist the team in addressing daily queries.
  • Review and summarize relevant public communications from the Luxembourg and EU authorities for the Team to assess if applicable and if requiring dispatch.

Compliance Training Management:

  • Assist the Team with organization of compliance training sessions, track attendance records and share it with HR as appropriate.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Assist the Team in performing testing when required, update working papers and provide regular update on the process to your Manager.

Compliance Operations:

  • Complete compliance non-complex daily, as required
  • Populating the AML/CFT & Sanctions data for Compliance report to Exco, A&C, Board and Sup Board, i.e., saving down docs received, creating the relevant pivot tables and charts
  • Reconciliation of the SAR/STR/TFAR logs based on the Monthly check of 0038 Compliance Blocked & 0041 Sanctions blocked accounts performed by Krakow Compliance
  • TA Watchlist maintenance based on the above reconciliation (i.e. any additions or removals that need to be actioned)
  • AMLA data gathering assistance
  • Support investigation drafting
  • Support police enquiries by coordinating the names searches internally
  • Proactively contribute to eliminate bureaucracy and enhance efficiency, by presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner to your Manager.

Knowledge , Skills and Abilities

  • BA/BS degree (business/finance/accounting concentration is preferred), or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong analytical, data management and presentation skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Willingness to learn

In order to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria

  • Available for a minimum of 6 months starting in August 2026

  • Internship required for graduation and currently studying for a Master’s degree (specializations such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent would be an asset)

  • Formal signed internship agreement provided by university
