Each year, we look for enthusiastic students studying civil engineering and structural engineering to
undertake practical work experience with us as an intern.
We are now recruiting for our summer program beginning in December 2026.

Tonkin interns benefit from being considered first for any suitable permanent graduate roles that become available, and we are currently only accepting third-year students for this opportunity. As a Tonkin intern, you won’t need to go through our usual application process – we will
know that you are suitable based on your performance during your internship.
Are Tonkin internship paid?
Yes! You’ll be working on real projects, so it’s only fair that you are paid.
