Job Description

The intern will support manufacturing operations by working closely with supervisors at plant locations and participating in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and resolve technical issues efficiently, while contributing to continuous improvement projects focused on process automation and data-driven decision-making.

• Operations Support: Assisted production supervisors in daily plant operations and process improvements.
• Lean & Six Sigma: Implemented methodologies to boost productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
• Equipment Reliability: Collaborated with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and maintain equipment.
• Process Automation: Contributed to continuous improvement projects using data-driven decision-making.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Studying Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer/Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of semiconductor technology and electronic components.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
• Data Analysis: Proficient in MS Office and tools like Excel, Minitab, and SPC.
• Data Visualization: Familiarity with BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create actionable insights and dashboards.
