STMicroelectronics is looking for an Analog Design Engineer to join the Analog & Mixed-Signal design community. In this role, you will contribute to the development of integrated circuits for a wide range of applications, working alongside experienced engineers in a highly collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, simulation, and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Contribute to the development of building blocks such as:
  • Bandgap references
  • Operational amplifiers
  • Comparators
  • Oscillators
  • ADC/DAC sub-blocks
  • Perform circuit analysis, corner simulations, and Monte Carlo simulations
  • Assist in documentation, design review preparation, and technical reporting
  • Collaborate with layout, verification, test, and product engineering teams
  • Participate in debugging and characterization activities on silicon
  • Support improvement of design methodologies and reusable design IP

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of analog circuit design principles
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, Cadence, or equivalent EDA environments
  • Understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals and CMOS technology
  • Ability to analyze circuits mathematically and interpret simulation results
  • Good problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Good written and spoken English

Preferred qualifications

  • Academic or internship experience in analog design
  • Exposure to layout constraints and parasitic effects
  • Knowledge of mixed-signal design concepts
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment for characterization is a plus
