YOUR ROLE

As the decarbonization of maritime transport and logistics accelerates, CMA CGM is developing a multi-fuel strategy notably based on biomethane, bio/e-methanol, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and emerging energy solutions.

Within the REOS team, you will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at guiding the Group’s decisions regarding alternative fuels, industrial partnerships, and priority markets.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

  • You will analyze key alternative fuel pathways, including biomethane, bio/e-methanol, SAF, e-SAF and electricity, assessing their deployment potential, costs, supply risks and scalability
  • You will monitor major energy production projects worldwide and maintain a strategic database of projects, developers and potential partners
  • You will identify priority geographical areas and sourcing opportunities for the Group’s future alternative fuel needs
  • You will contribute to international Green Corridor initiatives, assessing scale-up opportunities and potential partnerships across the maritime and energy ecosystems
  • You will support the Department’s strategic priorities by preparing market analyses, decision-making materials and executive-level presentations
  • You will contribute to shaping the Group’s alternative fuel priorities and long-term decarbonization strategy
  • You will support strategic discussions on the development of decarbonization solutions and services for customers

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • You are a final-year student from a leading engineering or business school (Mines, Centrale, École Polytechnique, Ponts, ENSTA, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, or equivalent)
  • You have a strong interest in energy, climate and transportation topics, particularly energy markets and decarbonization policies
  • You have excellent quantitative, analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel and comfortable working with data and strategic analyses
  • You are fluent in English and able to work effectively in an international environment
  • You are eager to contribute to strategic energy and decarbonization projects within a global transportation leader
  • You are motivated by the opportunity to work on some of the most transformative challenges facing the maritime industry
