Project Description
As an intern at Melexis, you will evaluate and build AI infrastructure utilizing Claude to streamline and enhance the mixed-signal design verification and system integration flow for automotive sensor IC product development.
Design, configure, and optimize Claude Code workflows and custom markdown files to automate and adapt AI agents to engineering tasks.
Exploit Claude for comprehensive test case development, task scheduling, sophisticated analysis, debugging, and automated reporting.
Implement and assess Claude's capability to automatically triage, classify, and root-cause simulation and verification failures to reduce manual debugging.
Integrate AI-driven tools directly into the development flow to accelerate verification.
Optionally, conduct a benchmark analysis comparing other tool platforms, such as Chipstack, against Claude to determine the most effective AI-driven methodologies.
Expected results
Establish a functional and tailored Claude AI infrastructure, including deployable markdown files.
Improve verification efficiency through AI-assisted test case management, debugging, and reporting.
Deploy Claude for Autotriage to streamline issue resolution during design verification.
Validate the approach and adopt the implemented AI solutions in real development projects.
Optionally, deliver a comparative analysis between Chipstack and Claude in terms of verification flow.
Basic understanding of analog, digital and mixed-signal design and verification.
Proficiency in hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog and Verilog is essential.
Familiarity with verification methodologies such as UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, TCL, or bash for automation and data processing.
Familiarity with AI infrastructure, prompt engineering, interest in AI exploration for hardware verification.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
