How will you make incident analysis faster and smarter with artificial intelligence? How will you help engineers move faster from alert to solution? How must can we trust AI insights? During this internship at Rabobank, you will work on a Proof of Concept that explores how agentic AI can support DevOps engineers with incident analysis. You will investigate how artificial intelligence can explain, summarise and translate signals from monitoring data into useful insights. In this way, you contribute to reliable digital services for customers.
As an intern in AI-assisted DevOps monitoring and incident analysis, you contribute by turning raw monitoring data into clear insights for engineers. You will combine backend engineering and AI tooling to create a solution that helps teams understand incidents faster. After completing the internship, you will have practical experience with modern DevOps challenges, artificial intelligence and systems used in real working environments.
• You investigate how agentic AI can support root cause analysis.

• You explore how alerts can be linked into clear and meaningful stories.
• Duration internship: 4-6 months
• Hours per week: preferably 32-36
• Starting date: September or later
Learning is central during your internship. You will work in an open and friendly DevOps team where there is room to ask questions, share ideas and explore new technology. You will gain hands-on experience with real systems and learn from experienced engineers who work every day on stable and reliable digital solutions.

• You are enrolled in a HBO/University course within Ai, IT or Engineering.
• You are interested in backend development with Java, Kotlin or Spring Boot.
• You are curious about artificial intelligence, Copilot and automation.
• You want to work with log and monitoring pipelines.
• You enjoy finding out how complex systems behave.
• You are proactive and willing to explore unknown topics.
• You enjoy working with others and sharing ideas.
