As part of the After Sales Platform team within the K‑GVO‑LD department, you will contribute to one of the Volkswagen Group’s most strategically important digital platforms. Together, we are shaping a modern, cloud‑based architecture that defines the future of After Sales worldwide. You will support our platform team with central analytical, content‑related, and organizational tasks, gaining deep insights into technological decision-making, platform strategy, and collaboration with international experts. Possible tasks within this role


  • Supporting the development of technical options and architecture decisions (e.g., ADRs) and helping prepare decision-making materials

  • Analyzing and structuring technology and cloud topics with a focus on modern platform architectures

  • Researching and comparing potential technical approaches in collaboration with internal architects and external consulting teams

  • Creating presentations and decision documents (PowerPoint) and supporting project planning and reporting activities (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

  • Preparing and evaluating financial and operational aspects, including cost calculations and Excel-based analyses

Qualification requirements


  • Enrolled students (from 4th bachelor semester onward) in Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with strong IT affinity, or comparable fields of study

  • Basic understanding of modern cloud technologies; experience with AWS is a plus

  • Fundamental knowledge of software and platform architecture (e.g., microservices, APIs, databases, data flows)

  • Interest in agile project management (e.g., SAFe, Jira, Scrum) and the ability to document technical topics in a structured manner (e.g., ADRs, architecture decisions)

  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for creating professional decision materials

  • German language level C1 and English language level B2

  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of collaborative work at eye level, and an independent, structured, and systematic working style

  • Commitment and willingness to dive deeply into complex topics
