In-person internships with:
School Based Therapy in Mooresville, NC
Day Treatment in Statesville, NC (preferably Master of Counseling program)
The Intern role is within a specific Community Based Program to be able to develop skills through intense and detailed training. Children’s Hope Alliance (CHA) will support the development of skills and work toward personal growth within the working field. CHA is looking for individuals with a strong sense of purpose and focus to continually build confidence in themselves and within our organization. Staff will work with program requirements as indicated by the interns’ college/university. Interns will have the opportunity to shadow a licensed clinician weekly, learn the agency’s Electronic Health Records System, participate and engage in child and family team meetings, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and be part of creating and learning assessments and treatment plans.
*In person onboarding in Statesville, NC is required prior to internship start date. Looking for applicants around Charlotte, Statesville, Winston Salem, and Ashville.
INTERNS WILL LEARN, PRACTICE, AND EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING:
Assist established counselors in implementing family, individual, and group therapies.
