Purpose
Interns will work with leaders in our organization to gain a better understanding of the manufacturing environment.  This position will teach you the ins and outs of our daily procedures and will give you a better understanding of how our organization runs.
Position Responsibilities:

• Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors from multiple departments
• Support the team with various tasks and projects
• Basic ability to read/interpret blueprints and customer engineering documentation.
• Staying on task and able to do repetitive work for extended periods of time.
• Offers manufacturing suggestions for reducing costs.

Skills:

• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Team player and results oriented
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use a computer to interpret information
• Being able to solve problems and offer suggestions for improvement
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.

General Requirements:

2. Attendance – attendance in line with company policy, reliable.
3. Productivity – produces acceptable amount of work, completes projects in a timely manner.
4. Must be prepared to sit or stand for majority of shift.
5. Training – ensures required training classes are completed by the scheduled time.
6. Safety – follow all guidelines, policies and procedures as related to safety requirements.
