We like to think of ourselves as more than just developers. We're a friendly group of around 300 people with plenty of casual and hardcore gamers, tech heads and creative masterminds, organized planners, and nerdy game fans who make this industry so fun. And we’re all together on a mission to open windows to amazing worlds. We've been making games for over 30 years, crafting and publishing unique experiences that have put us on the path to becoming a leader in Online Worlds.
We've got four studios spread across Norway, the USA, Portugal, and Romania, and we're always on the lookout for more dedicated people to join our ranks.
We're all about creating a relaxed and equal workspace where flat communication and our agile structure are key to delivering world-class games.
So, if you're ready to make your mark, we're ready to welcome you!
Applications are now open for our 2027 internship program at our Oslo studio. We are welcoming students currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an educational institution in Norway, who want to complete an unpaid internship as part of their studies.
Because arrangements for internships vary between institutions and programs, we encourage you to confirm the requirements with your institution before applying.
The program offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced colleagues and mentors, and contribute towards great games.
Application deadline: September 23, 2026
Time of the internship: January-May 2027
Place: Oslo, Norway, On-site. You will need to arrange and cover your own travel and accommodation. You'll also have access to our free breakfast bar and lunch.
Our goal is to help set you up for a strong career in game development. After completing the internship, you'll be very welcome to apply for open positions at Funcom.
We are looking for two Analytics Interns to join our team. Analytics is a growing part of how we improve our games at Funcom. Turning data about how people play into clear, reliable insights that help teams make better decisions. As an Analytics Intern, you would be embedded in our seven-person team and paired with an experienced analyst as your mentor, doing hands-on work and learning transferrable skills.
You would work alongside our analysts on real player and game data, taking on well-scoped tasks with guidance and growing your scope over time.
Careful data preparation is a genuine part of analytics, not just the analysis at the end, and you should expect it to be part of your week.
You do not need professional analytics experience. We're interested in the foundations you've developed through coursework, personal projects, or other practical work - and in your curiosity about games, players, and data.
We evaluate candidates on an ongoing basis and recommend candidates to apply as soon as possible!
Please apply in English.
