Job Description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as an International Tax Specialist based in Dubai The International Tax Specialist assists the Senior Regional Tax Manager in managing day-to-day tax compliance and operational tax matters across the Asia, Middle East, and Australia Pacific (MEAPAC) region, while also contributing to tax advisory and process improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do as International Tax Specialist:

  • Manage MEAPAC tax compliance end-to-end: monitoring deadlines, coordinating advisors, reviewing filings (corporate, VAT/GST, withholding), and tracking payments.
  • Oversee daily operational tax, ensuring accurate data collection and first-level review of tax computations.
  • Support routine tax audits, authority queries, and information requests by preparing responses and documentation.
  • Manage annual transfer pricing compliance, including documentation, intercompany data collection, and advisor support.
  • Build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and support quarterly/annual tax reporting with reconciliations and analysis.
  • Contribute to regional tax compliance process improvement, standardization, automation, new legislation implementation, and ad hoc advisory.

You are:

  • ICAS/ACA/CTA or equivalent with min. 3 years' corporate tax experience in multinational or Big 4 environments, covering multi-jurisdictional tax compliance. In-house experience beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional direct, indirect, and withholding tax compliance.
  • Highly analytical with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, able to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure; self-motivated and works unsupervised.
