Newly created role – Expansion of our Central EMEA Tax Team
As part of the ongoing centralisation of our tax activities across EMEA, Daikin Europe NV is strengthening its central tax function. This is a newly created position driven by growth and increasing complexity within our organisation.
In this role, you will take full tax responsibility for the France, with additional involvement in Benelux and Nordic matters. You will operate from our EMEA headquarters in Belgium, within a strong and collaborative central tax team.
The Context
Daikin Europe NV (DENV), subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd (Japan), is the EMEA headquarters of a global market leader in HVAC-R solutions. With around 60 affiliates across the region, we are further professionalising and centralising our tax operations to ensure consistency, quality and strategic alignment.
Each International Tax Specialist within our team is dedicated to specific countries or regions. You will not be a stand-alone local tax profile — you will be part of a central expert team where knowledge sharing, technical discussions and collaboration are key.
Located at the Headquarters of the Daikin group in EMEA, you will become part of a professional and driven tax team within a multinational entity. With +/- 60 affiliates mainly in EMEA, we will be centralising all tax operations for the group and take care of all tax related matters, together with our shared service center in Poland. We are therefore looking to enforce our central tax team. As an International Tax Specialist, you will become the dedicated area tax responsible of a certain region with cross-border elements. You will take up your role in cooperation with other tax team members with different tax specialisations.
