At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
At Roche, we believe every patient deserves a precise, timely diagnosis. While algorithms are valuable calculation tools, the true clinical breakthrough lies in combining advanced laboratory assays with clinical scores to enable precise, non-invasive patient triage.
We are seeking a sharp, proactive, and purpose-driven Intern to join our team for 12 months. In this role, you will help shift the market mindset from standalone tools to biomarker-powered clinical triage solutions. You will build a globally scalable narrative demonstrating how a sequential testing workflow brings concrete value to clinicians and patients alike.
You will ensure all global deliverables are driven through our internal compliance and approval processes, providing local affiliates with a fully compliant, "plug-and-play" commercial toolkit.
You tell a clear story about the science to help clinicians easily understand why the biology behind our tests matters, explaining for example how a specific liver test combined with a mathematical score supports accurate treatment decision.
Your work proves the time-saving and financial value of these solutions to hospitals by demonstrating that using blood tests first can safely rule out low-risk patients early, which keeps specialized imaging machines and clinics from getting overcrowded.
You collaborate closely with teams around the world, communicating with local Roche affiliates in countries like the US, Germany, and France to ensure that our messaging perfectly matches how doctors actually work in those areas.
Taking charge of the legal approval process is a key responsibility, as you manage getting all materials reviewed and approved through Roche's official internal system to ensure everything is one hundred percent compliant before release.
You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program or you have completed your graduation within 12 months prior to the internship start date in field of Life Sciences, Business Administration, Digital Science, Marketing, or a related field.
Driven by a desire to influence your own development, you are looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies.
You see a job title not as the final definition of who you are, but rather as the starting point for your professional journey.
Initial experience in a global, regional, or collaborative local marketing or product manager role within diagnostics, pharma, or medical devices is considered a significant plus.
Your exceptional communication skills enable you to translate complex scientific assays and mathematical scores into highly structured, scannable, and persuasive commercial materials.
An analytical mindset combined with a proactive working style and strong project management capabilities defines your way of working.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is strictly mandatory to succeed and communicate effectively in this international environment.
Please upload your CV (in English), a motivation letter with your application, and a certificate of enrolment (if you are currently studying) or your degree certificate (if you have already completed your studies).
Non-EU/Non-EFTA citizens must attach a confirmation from the university to the application documents, stating that a mandatory internship is part of the education and be continuously enrolled in their university for the whole duration of this internship.
Duration: 12 months
Start date: from August 2026 or depending on availability (earliest possible start preferred)
Location: Rotkreuz, Switzerland (Hybrid / Remote options available)
